Tehra Dark Warrior is a video game created by StormBASIC Games. Centuries ago Humans and Urka'h, after years of endless war, agreed to a truce. In order to maintain the truce a warrior was created, half-Human and half-Urka'h. The peace lasted, however, and the warrior was left in stasis. Flash forward to the present day when the Urka'h, without warning, break the truce, and Tehra is hastily revived to investigate the disturbances.
Tehra is handy with a broadsword, and can cast magic by absorbing the souls of slain monsters. By filling up her magic meter entirely Tehra can transform into her Urka'h empowered form, where she turns blue, gets even more naked, and deals additional damage with her attacks.
For centuries, the land of Sistar was laid waste by countless battles between the human race and the Urka'h, a fearsome breed of demons. Hundreds of thousands of fighters lost their lives in bloody wars, bringing both races to the brink of total destruction.

A basic hack ‘n’ slash that takes cues from various big-budget games but has none of the charms of any of them, Tehra is an ambitious but ultimately poorly executed slog.
So at its core, the combat here is very simple – you mostly just hack away at enemies with the square button, occasionally dodging out of the way or blocking depending on the type of blow incoming. There’s no way to cancel out of a combo which is frustrating, meaning you often have to be careful and just slowly chip away at stronger enemies health then just run away, ruining the flow of fighting somewhat and artificially padding the length (as well as generally feeling quite clunky).
To help you out, there’s a couple of extra abilities at your disposal. You can cast spells which are bought by collecting gold and upgrading them in a very God of War-esque menu which consumes your mana, the resource also used to transform into your demon form where you are temporarily invulnerable and have massively increased damage. Making use of spells and ultimate is key – things like a ground knock back or ring of fire can buy you some time, while the transformation is handy for some of the more irritating enemies you come across.
